Summer at Baldy Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Baldy Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Mesa Verde National Park is a very great location to pop by near Baldy Reservoir. The sight of pretty Bald Hill near Baldy Reservoir       is glorious, and whitewater paddling is good on Dolores River. There's some flowing water nearby, Geren Creek is a stream you can go to while here, and the Stoner Mesa Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Mavreeso Canyon is right next door to Baldy Reservoir and is a tremendous location; Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a good site to get some rest. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. You're probably hooked                  on lakes, Bald Hill Reservoir is one of those nearby; a glorious nearby hotel is Dunton Hot Springs. Camping is available at Emerson Campground, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Peak Trail. Around Baldy Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; October is the month that gets the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
