Baldy Lake is a lake worth visiting. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The panorama of striking Long Branch Baldy near Baldy Lake is perfect. This is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes. Needle Creek Reservoir is a lake close by, and the Pitkin Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez

| | Mountains has it all. Head up to Monarch and strap some skis to your feet, and delightful hiking is available along the Quakey Mountain Trail.
Baldy Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Baldy Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Baldy Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn | |

Express Salida, Co is a brilliant spot to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Lone Pine Reservoir.
There's so much to do here at Baldy Lake that you need to camp here for a
while, Buffalo Pass Campground is a tremendous place for that, and there's great hiking along the Coyote Park Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Stay the night at Monarch Valley Ranch, and a visit to Black Canyon Of The
Gunnison National Park is recommended. Baldy Lake is pretty arid generally; throughout August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
