But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Camping is available at Road Canyon Campground, and there are nice places to discover along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway. If you need a place to stay Old Firehouse Bed & Breakfast is a great choice; one of the principal features of the surroundings of Baldy Lake is Baldy Mountain. At Baldy Lake you don’t see much rain; July is when you get the most rain       here; June on the other hand is the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Willow Creek Cabins. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Baldy Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows at Baldy Lake during the winter mostly drop into the-10's. You can run the rapids of Rio Grande close to Baldy                  Lake; there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Long Ridge Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead while you're here at Baldy Lake, and while you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous Jumper Creek Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Baldy Lake.
