Hiking along the Stoner Stock Trail is great fun, and a visit to Mesa Verde National Park is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Dolores River offers some good whitewater; a tremendous location to check out close by is Mavreeso Canyon. A lake nearby is Baldy Reservoir; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Eagle Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping       at Mavreeso Campground is always a delightful experience. After a long day outdoors Dunton Hot Springs is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Bald Hill Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Emerson Campground is a glorious local campground. All through the summer at Bald Hill Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's;                  throughout the dark hours in the winter at Bald Hill Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Bald Hill Reservoir.
