     Paddling on Yampa River is so much fun, and Baking Powder Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Deerlodge Park Campground is a good local campground. Wild Horse Spring is an inspiring spot to pop by while here; don't miss out on a spree to Dinosaur National Monument if you're here. A beautiful lake like Sheep Trail Reservoir next to Baking Powder Reservoir is a fine place to visit. Through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 90's at  
   Baking Powder Reservoir. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Baking Powder Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's.
Baking Powder Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is October while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of White River in a kayak; you'll hit upon a striking lake called Wolf Creek Reservoir Number 2.
