Baker Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Near Baker Lake you hit upon a golf course called Mountain Vista Golf Course, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. Lots of people from Fort Collins-Loveland come to Baker Lake, and camping at Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest is always a magnificent experience.
