There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Baehr Reservoir called the Rolling Creek Trail, and you can stay the night at Tramway Campground. Having a delightful time in the Front       Range is painless. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Crystal Lake, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on South Platte River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Littleton, Co is a perfect place to get some rest; Baehr Reservoir is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Buffalo Creek Campground is a nice location to camp nearby.
