Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Platte River, and the wonderful people of Denver-Aurora like to hang out nearby. Throughout the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Badding Reservoir. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 40's while Badding Reservoir overnight low temperatures       during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Ramada Plaza Hotel is a good place to get some rest, and Badding Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, The Prospect RV Park is a delightful local campground. Badding Reservoir is ordinarily a quite dried out site; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. After a long day outdoors Radisson North Denver Graystone Castle is a fine spot                  to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Legacy Ridge Golf Course. Badding Reservoir is right next door to Badding Dam which is a stunning site unquestionably worth taking a look at. There's so much to do here at Badding Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Delux RV Park is a great spot for that.
