It's always fun to stop by Autrey Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Mesa Trail is always a great adventure, and there are some great whitewater spots on Boulder Creek. Not much rain falls here at Autrey Reservoir; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Not far from Autrey Reservoir you acquire some splendid water scenery at Great Western Dam, and Hodgson-Harris Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit.

| | lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Great Western Reservoir, and if you need a spot to stay Renaissance Broomfield Suites is a nice choice. Having a fine time at Autrey Reservoir is painless. Camping at Prospect RV Park is always a tremendous experience, and an afternoon playing golf at Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. on the Saddle Rock Trail.
Camping is available at The Prospect RV Park, and don't leave Autrey Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Bear Peak Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek - South; a pleasant
close by hotel is Towneplace Suites By Marriott Denver Broomfield.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Autrey Reservoir. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Autrey Reservoir.
