It is very waterless here at Aurora Rampart Reservoir commonly; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Oakwood at Legacy at Highlands Ranch is a great choice, and lots of folks from Denver-Aurora come here. What a spot this is       for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest/Littleton, and a nice location to camp here at Aurora Rampart Reservoir is Rock Springs Campground. The warmest time of the year at Aurora Rampart Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Aurora                  Rampart Reservoir sink into the 10's. Not far from Aurora Rampart Reservoir you get some magnificent water scenery at Aurora-Rampart Dam.
