Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Aubert Reservoir. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while Aubert Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. If the weather is wonderful here at Aubert Reservoir,       you can go for a hike along the Gill Creek Trail, and a good close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Grand Junction. This lake is so wonderful. At Aubert Reservoir you always meet someone from Grand Junction. At Aubert Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. There are some great whitewater spots on Colorado River; naturally, this is a fine vicinity for people                  who like lakes, Fruita Reservoir Number 1 is a lake in the neighborhood. So much fun stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, just incredible. There is a magnificent hiking trail in close proximity to Aubert Reservoir called the Liberty Cap Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Hay Press Campground is a good place to camp. Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do next to Aubert Reservoir. Aubert Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and don't miss out on a tour to Colorado National Monument while you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Grand Junction, Co is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; why not take a little journey to Johnson Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
