Why not camp at Mavreeso Campground if you're here at Aspen Reservoir, and Big Spring is a beautiful place to explore while you're at Aspen Reservoir. While you're here at Aspen Reservoir you can take a hike along the Twin Spring Trail, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Dolores River. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes. Big Spring Reservoir is a lake around here, and Hooray Flats is a brilliant site to stretch your legs a bit. Aspen

| | Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dehydrated typically; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Aspen Reservoir generally tend to be in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Dunton Hot Springs; hiking along the Stoner Mesa Trail is great fun. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dressel
Reservoir is near Aspen Reservoir, and camping is available at West Dolores Campground. So much fun stuff in close proximity to Aspen Reservoir, definitely phenomenal. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Eagle Peak Trail; at Aspen Reservoir you can catch a sight of Nipple Mountain.

It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only. The public access is maintained by the DOW. The only facilities present is a boat ramp and a pit toilet. No fires, swimming or overnight camping is allowed.... |
