Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great site to get some rest, and Arch Slough is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Ward Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. High temperatures at Arch Slough during the summer are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Arch       Slough. This place, Arch Slough, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Powderhorn is a very popular ski area around here; on a great day you can take a hike along the Crag Crest Trail. A nice spot to camp here at Arch Slough is Carp Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the Lily Lake Trail is always a good adventure. You don’t have to go far from Arch Slough to make out the water at Arch Slough Dam; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Kannah                  Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta. Lakes are delightful; Alexander Lake is a lake that's close to Arch Slough. There is a great hiking trail next to Arch Slough called the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail.
