 | 19 miles away This has been a favorite vacation/relaxation spot for my family for many years. The popularity has grown and the campground is very busy during the summer months on weekends. Ypsilon Lake
 | 19 miles away It's true. This lake is incredible for fishing probably because it is little fished. Beetle Spins not so good for us but Rooster Tails and Yo-Zuri Pin's minnow 2'' Rainbow Trout colored did the trick. Four of us went here July '09. The hike was long but worth it. Accompanied by a late morning start, it rained off and on so we didn't get to fish as much as we wanted plus the altitude got to one of us pretty badly. We're lowlanders from the South. A couple of extra-strength Tylenol, he was up and around in an hour or so. Next time we'll camp at Upper Chipmunk and each eat our fill of Trout each day. Awesome adventure!... |
