Camping at Bellaire Lake Campground is always a delightful experience; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Killpecker Trail. Drift down the rapids of Cache La Poudre River in a kayak, and since you're here you can take a hike along the North Lone Pine Trail. Apache Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year July       is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is January. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. If you get bored of Apache Lake, you could also take a look at close by Pocahontas Lake.
