Apache Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail, and Nakomis Lake Dam is a picturesque place. Apache Lake is a location that is quite dehydrated ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while January is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike       on the North Lone Pine Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Peak To Peak Lodge Inc.. So many amusing things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not enough time. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area in the neighborhood of Apache Lake has to offer. Fox Acres Country Club is a splendid golf course nearby, and camping is available at Creedmore Lakes Campground. This place, the Medicine Bow Mountains, has so much outdoors                  entertaining stuff. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Killpecker Trail; there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline kick people. All through the long summer days highs here at Apache Lake reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Apache Lake.
