local campground; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Clear Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. If the weather is
great here at Annie Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gold Creek Union Park Trail, and Annie Lake is not the only place close by, Jackson Lake is a close by lake. The Gunsight Trail is a good hiking trail next to Annie Lake, and
lovely scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Monarch.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail next to Annie Lake called the Pitkin Stock Driveway; if you come at the right time of year, Taylor River offers
some magnificent whitewater. Annie Lake is pretty waterless usually; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is June.
