Lake Ann is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek, and nearby you hit upon the Texas Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail next to Lake Ann called the Timberline Trail, and The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a fine place to get some rest.

| | Range is easy. The peak of Granite Mountain can be observed from Lake Ann, and going for a hike on the Horn Fork Trail is always a perfect adventure. Having a fine time at Lake Ann is painless. Camping at Rivers End Campground is always a pleasant experience, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Lake Ann throughout the long summer days are in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the
30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Ann are in the 0's. Lake Ann is a location that is reasonably dried up commonly; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. But wait, there's
more amusing stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. A pleasant visit to Harrison Flat is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon; hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Cooper is a wonderful site to do that.
