Lake Ann is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Lake Ann is San Juan River - East Fork; going for a hike on the Continental Divide Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Lake Ann is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. At Lake Ann during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime

| | are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Ann temperatures dip to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Fish Creek Trail; a good site to camp here at Lake Ann is Mix Lake Campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Nearby Gunsight Pass is a pleasant place to go if you're at Lake Ann, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Conejos | |

River. There are tremendous places to look at along the Fish Lake Trail, and camping at Stunner Campground is always a tremendous experience.

Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a great choice. Lake Ann sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most snow around here; June meanwhile is the driest month.
