You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the San Juan Mountains has to offer. This is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes. Fish Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; going for a hike on the Fish Lake Trail is always a good adventure. Lake Ann is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. Near Lake Ann you discover the Continental Divide Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; dry warm beds await       you at Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co. Lake Ann gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and June is when it's the driest. Having a great time in the San Juan Mountains is uncomplicated. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Conejos River. This lake is so wonderful. Best Value High Country Lodge is a good location to get some rest; there are pleasant locations to explore along the Fish Creek                  Trail. Camping is available at Mix Lake Campground; a good place is Gunsight Pass. At Lake Ann through the long summer days highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Ann drop into the 0's. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the vicinity of Lake Ann will keep you coming back again and again.
