Super 8 Rifle is a fine place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Anderson Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Weir and Johnson Campground is a good location for that. Sheep Flats is a glorious spot. Around Anderson Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; March is the month that gets the       most rain while June is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Anderson Reservoir without first going for a hike along the East Leon Trail; if you've had enough of Anderson Reservoir, Anderson Reservoir is nearby. High temperatures at Anderson Reservoir during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and throughout                  the dark hours in the wintertime at Anderson Reservoir temperatures descend to the 0's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Anderson Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Twin Lake Campground, and there are good spots to discover along the High Foot Trail.
