Good hiking is available along the Lily Lake Trail, and you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Grove Creek Reservoir Number 2 is one of those close by. Super 8 Rifle is a fine place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Anderson Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Weir and Johnson Campground is a good location for that. Sheep Flats is a glorious spot. Don't leave Anderson Reservoir without first going for a hike along the East Leon Trail; if you've had enough of Anderson Reservoir, Anderson Reservoir is nearby. High temperatures at Anderson Reservoir during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
