Trappers Lake Campground
 | I've been going to Yampa since I was around 5 years of age. I'm not usually too keen on seeing new hotels being established in sleepy mountain towns, but The Oak Tree Inn is an exception. It's a welcome addition to this amazing little town and a great retreat when the snows come.... |

Elk lakes are located about 5 minutes from the wilderness area only 1/2 mile to the parking for jet lakes.... some colorado wild flowers... |

Most deffinatly more than a one day trip. Always plan for all kinds of weather, and definitely tent camping only.... |
