In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, American Lake is one of them. Camping is available at Castle Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. From American Lake you acquire a great sight of Hayden Peak, and don't leave American Lake without first going for a hike along the Star Trail. Summertime at American Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime

Aspen Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff; you could always discover Electric Pass. If you need a place to stay The Gant is a fine choice, and you can go for a hike on the Trail Riders Trail. Good hiking is available along the Granite Basin Trail, and camping at Pine Creek Campground is always a good experience.

for American Lake. Dry warm beds await you at The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Aspen Highlands. You'll meet a lot of people from Edwards here, and American Lake
is not the only place nearby, Cathedral Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Roaring Fork, and unsurprisingly Pine Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth visiting.
