Summer at Alverjones Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Alverjones Lake. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a delightful time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Timber Lake is in the vicinity of Alverjones Lake. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the       San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Dry warm beds await you at The Spruce Lodge, and hiking along the Ruybalid Trail is great fun. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Conejos River, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the South Fork Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Alverjones                  Lake a wet spot; during the month of March you get the most snow around here; June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Spectacle Lake Campground, and you might also want to pay a visit to East Canon Escondido while you're here at Alverjones Lake. Camping at Conejos Campground is always a great experience, and do take a hike on the Elk Creek Trail. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really bountiful here at Alverjones Lake.
