During the warmest time of the year at Alverjones Lake temperatures are typically in the 60's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Alverjones Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Alverjones Lake commonly gets       a great deal of rain; during the month of March you get the most snow around here, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Conejos River; camping is available at Conejos Campground. Why not camp at Spectacle Lake Campground if you're here at Alverjones Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Burro Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity                  to Alverjones Lake. Paddling on Rio de los Pinos is so much fun; don't leave Alverjones Lake without first going for a hike along the Elk Creek Trail.
