if you don’t go skiing at Telluride while you're here. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. San Miguel River is a good whitewater spot near Alta Reservoir Number 3; Gold King Basin is
a great place here at Alta Reservoir Number 3.
Ophir Needles is a good place to stop at while in the vicinity, and if you need a site to stay Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a tremendous choice. You don’t have to go far from Alta
Reservoir Number 3 to observe the water at Middle Alta Lake Dam; don't leave Alta Reservoir Number 3 without first going for a hike along the Sheep Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Alta
Reservoir Number 3 is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a glorious local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail.
Dry warm beds await you at Capella Telluride, and a wonderful place is Spring Gulch. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
