Beautiful Alta Lakes has much to offer visitors. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Inn at Lost Creek, and if you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Telluride Ski & Golf Club. Telluride is a glorious local ski area, and Alta Lakes is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Bald Mountain is easily distinguished from Alta Lakes, and Spring Gulch is another great spot to pop by nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Waterfall Creek, and there are tremendous places to discover along the Lizard Head Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. | |

Float down the rapids of San Miguel River in a kayak, and if you came to camp Sunshine Campground is a wonderful place to do that.
This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Everybody nearby loves skiing
at Silverton, and a lovely lake like Alta Reservoir Number 3 is a splendid location to take a look at. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mineral
Creek - South.
Summertime highs at Alta Lakes ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Alta Lakes night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the
0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things near Alta Lakes. Interesting geology is available here; Ophir Needles is next to Alta Lakes; nearby you locate the Deep Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. That right
there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a splendid place to get some rest, and Middle Alta Lake Dam is a wonderful place, undeniably worth
visiting.
A pleasant visit to Gold King Basin is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and going for a hike on the Sheep Trail is always a nice adventure.
