For the period of the months of summer highs here at Alta Lake reach the 70's; the night is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Alta Lake. Stay the night at Twin Rivers Guest Ranch, and after a long       day outdoors Narrow Gauge RR Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two. Alta Lake is pretty waterless commonly; through July this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Alta Lake Dam is lovely and it's close to Alta Lake, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Antonio River.
