There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Alkali Lake. Camping at Never Summer Nordic is always a great experience. Summertime highs at Alkali Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Alkali Lake during the winter ordinarily descend into the 10's.       If you need a spot to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a brilliant choice, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Grizzly Helena Trail. The Ute Pass Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Alkali Lake, and since you're here, you could also pop by pretty Lake John. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Alkali Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Helena Campground is a great                  local campground, and North Platte River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Park Range has to offer.
