If you came for an overnight stay Kings Riverbend RV Park and Cabins is a nice place to camp; fine hiking is available along the Dry Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something next to Alexander Reservoir? Mock Reservoir Number 2 is close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Uncompahgre River offers some nice whitewater. | | the Spring Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites, and Lindsay Canyon is around here, and is a great place. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Alexander Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Creek Golf Course. Not much rain falls here at Alexander Reservoir; October is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. And that's not everything you can do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
