It is very waterless here at Alexander Lake regularly; October is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. Take a hike on the Crag Crest Trail, and camping is available at Carp Lake Campground. Camping at Ward Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and if you need a place to stay Spruce Lodge Resort is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking       adventure along the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail, and Arch Slough is a splendid lake close by. Alexander Lake is next to Alexander Lake Dam which is a beautiful spot beyond doubt worth going to. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. While you're here at Alexander Lake you can take a hike along the Lily Lake Trail, and Creek Side Bed & Breakfast is a great site to get some rest. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Powderhorn; whitewater paddling is brilliant                  on Kannah Creek. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Alexander Lake get into the 90's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's.
