| | Lake is pretty arid commonly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Boulder Creek - South, and if you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Green Lake Number 1. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. The top of Mount Albion is easily spotted from Albion Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Jean Lunning | |

Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park since you're here, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a fine location
to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Albion Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's with
temperatures at Albion Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Rocky Mountain National Park is recommended, and pretty scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Berthoud
Pass. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Albion Lake. Why not camp at Mitchell Creek Campground while you're here at Albion Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Niwot Ridge Trail. Green Lake Number 2 is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some fine whitewater.
