Agua Fria Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Summit Lake Campground is a good site to do that, and the Lost Ranger Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. There are some fine whitewater spots on Elk River, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Aqua Fria Dam close to Agua Fria

Howelsen Hill is a great local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at Western Lodge. All the outdoors fun things in the Park Range will keep you coming back persistently. There's so much to do here at Agua Fria Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Grizzly Creek Campground is a glorious location for that, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail. Agua Fria Lake is a location that is quite waterless typically; all
through December this area sees the most snow while August is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Agua Fria Lake typically tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's.
For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Agua Fria Lake are in the-10's.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Steamboat is right next door to Agua Fria Lake, and Thunderhead Lodge And Condominiums is a perfect spot to get some rest.
