The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Skiing at Steamboat is one of those things you just should do, and the Newcomb Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. At Agua Fria Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the month that gets the most snow, and August is when it's the driest.
Yeah, come up here to the Park Range for a great time. If you get bored of Agua Fria Lake, you could also visit nearby Aqua Fria Reservoir, and Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums

You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Howelsen Hill, and a brilliant close by hotel is Winterwood Townhomes. All through the summer months at Agua Fria Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Aqua Fria Dam is not far at all from Agua Fria Lake. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's splendid hiking along the Rainbow Lake Trail;
if you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some good whitewater. A lake nearby is Rainbow Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Grizzly Creek Campground is a great site to camp.
This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Agua Fria Lake is right by the Lost Ranger Trail.
