Definatly a 4 wheel drive Jeep Trail but only a few miles from Elk lakes, Jet lake, Shadow Lake, Blair lakes , Crater Lake, Deep lake and bison lake. Lots of Cut throat trout, rainbows and browns. Most deffinatly more than a one day trip. Always plan for all kinds of weather, and definitely tent camping only. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sunlight Mountain is pretty near. Elk Lakes is a great lake close to Adams Lake; if you need a site to stay Clarion Collection Glenwood Springs is a magnificent choice. Adams Lake is ordinarily a relatively dehydrated place; the month with       most of the rain is October, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Adams Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's; the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Adams Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Here at Adams Lake you can distinguish Spring Hill.                  You'll need more than a day to discover everything Adams Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bison Lake Campground. Adams Lake is right by the Oyster Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. Hiking along the Fayville Trail is perfect fun; a beautiful lake like Jet Lake is a good place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Last Chance Trail.
