The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Zitella with night lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Lake Zitella tend to be in the 10's. If you need a place to stay Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center is a tremendous choice, and glorious hiking is available along the Highland Trail. Just can't get enough       of Lake Zitella. Americas Best Value Inn Tahoe City/Lake Tahoe is a glorious place to get some rest. Lake Zitella gets a normal amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Zitella. Rockbound Valley is a splendid location to pop by close by; if you came for an overnight stay Wentworth Springs Campground is a perfect place to camp. Visit                  Phipps Creek since you're here at Lake Zitella, and you're probably interested in lakes, Horseshoe Lake is one of those close by. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get covered with water paddling on American River - South Fork, and there's magnificent hiking along the General Creek Trail. Paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork is so much fun, and why not head up to Sierra at Tahoe and strap some skis to your feet. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. McConnell Peak is simple to spot from Lake Zitella; while you're here at Lake Zitella it's a wonderful idea to stop at Onion Flat. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are pleasant; McConnell Lake is a lake that's close to Lake Zitella, and don't leave Lake Zitella without first going for a hike along the Red Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
