The beauty of Zaca Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Hurricane Deck Trail; Zaca Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Ballard Campground is a glorious local campground. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Sierra Madre, too tremendous to be true. Lots of people from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta come to Zaca Lake, and a delightful place to camp here at Zaca Lake is Upper Ballard

| | Campground. Not much precipitation falls here at Zaca Lake; of all the months in a year February is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Zaca Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Zaca Lake drop into the 30's. Near Zaca Lake you discover the Potrero Canyon Trail | |

which is a brilliant hiking trail; after a long day outdoors Svendsgaard's Danish Lodge-Best Value Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Zaca Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sierra Madre.
All year is a glorious time
in the Sierra Madre if you adore the outdoors. Fess Parker's Wine Country Inn is a great site to get some rest. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Zaca Lake. Get wet paddling on Cuyama River;
here at Zaca Lake you can catch a glimpse of Lookout Mountain. Going for a hike on the Ranger Peak Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a tour to Sulphur Spring will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings.
