Yuba Reservoir is right by the Lafayette Ridge Trail; a quick visit to Clipper Creek is unquestionably a great idea. Yuba Reservoir is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Faucherie - Tahoe National Forest is a fine place to camp nearby; you can run the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork. For the duration of the days of summer at Yuba Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's; throughout summer nights       temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows at Yuba Reservoir throughout the winter usually fall into the 20's. This location is excellent, just check out all the amusing stuff to do near Yuba Reservoir. Greenhorn Campground is a glorious local campground; there's whitewater on Yuba River - South Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lots of rainfall falls at Yuba Reservoir; the month with most of the rain                  is January; July on the other hand is the driest. That right there is heaps of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. The Humbug Trail offers hiking at its best; Piety Hill Cottages is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Herring Reservoir is near Yuba Reservoir, and if you've had enough of Yuba Reservoir, Idaho-Maryland Reservoir is close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Nevada City Inn is a wonderful choice; Nevada County Country Club is a perfect golf course close by. Yuba Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return home again.
