Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. At Youngs Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's while Youngs Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Divide Lake is a nearby       lake that you could go to; why not visit nearby Bens Creek while you're here at Youngs Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Klamath River offers some splendid whitewater, and camping at Hupa Valley Mobile Home and RV is always a great experience. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Arcata CA, and a magnificent spot to camp here                  at Youngs Lake is Aikens Creek Campground. Youngs Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Youngs Lake called the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail; Burrill Peak is a peak you can spot from Youngs Lake. Youngs Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Youngs Lake.
