Lake Helen of Troy is a magnificent lake in the vicinity of Wright Lakes, and why not camp at Symmes Creek Campground while you're here at Wright Lakes. Wright Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Southern Sierra Nevada. You just can't envision       the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Southern Sierra Nevada has to offer. There are brilliant places to look at along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11; from Wright Lakes you obtain a fine vista of Tawny Point. Bighorn Plateau is a fine site, and a brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Frontier Motel. Going for a hike on the Mount Whitney Trail is always a delightful adventure; soar down the rapids of Kern River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.                  Don't leave Wright Lakes without first going for a hike along the Sawtooth Pass Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Independence Creek Campground is a splendid site to camp. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Wright Lakes, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Wright Lakes temperatures fall to the 20's. Having a glorious time in the Southern Sierra Nevada is trouble-free.
