There's so much to do here at Woodward Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Knights Ferry Resort is a fine place for that, and Best Western Rama Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. Throughout the days of summer at Woodward Reservoir highs are mostly in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Woodward       Reservoir night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Cocklebur Beach close to Woodward Reservoir is always a magnificent idea; if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Oakdale is a delightful choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Woodward Reservoir. Stay the night at Breezewood Mobile Home Park, and taking a little spree to nearby Biscuit Point is a tremendous idea. In case you                  don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River, and there are plenty of folks from Modesto here.
