A visit to Lake of The Woods is always a good idea. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Camping at Lake of The Woods is great fun, Independence Lake Campground is a great local campground; going for a hike along the Mount Lola Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
