Wood Ranch Reservoir is usually a reasonably dehydrated       place; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Man, is there loads of fun things to do close to Wood Ranch Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Ten Oaks Retirement Village is a glorious site to camp, and a great place to go to is Sycamore Canyon. Going for a hike on the Pothole Trail is always a good adventure, and soar down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak. At Wood Ranch Reservoir during the summertime months                  highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Wood Ranch Reservoir temperatures descend to the 40's. Good hiking is available along the Devil Canyon Trail, and since you're here, you could also go to pretty Bard Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
