This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Courtright Reservoir is a great lake near Wishon Reservoir; camping at Lily Pad Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. Coolidge Meadow is a nice spot to check out; there are other spots here than Wishon Reservoir, for example Clear Lake. Wishon Dam is an exciting thing to check out; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called       the Red Mountain Trail. The annual rain here at Wishon Reservoir is about average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Wishon Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Wishon Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places                  here in the Central Sierra Nevada. So many fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. The skiing at Sierra Summit is wonderful, and why not take a look at nearby Sharp Creek while you're here at Wishon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is worthwhile. You can run the rapids of Kings River - Middle Fork close to Wishon Reservoir, and if you're here, you might as well have a look at Lost Canyon. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
