     So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Winnemucca Lake, truly inspiring. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Winnemucca Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woods Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors The Meadow is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. You just should go for the Northern Sierra Nevada. Here at Winnemucca Lake you'll possibly meet some folks from Gardnerville Ranchos. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves  
   Devils Corral; drift down the rapids of Carson River - East Fork in a kayak.
Winnemucca Lake gets a lot of water; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. A stunning lake like Frog Lake near Winnemucca Lake is a good place to visit, and glorious skiing awaits you at Kirkwood. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.

               Lake you locate the Burnside Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and do stop at Round Top Lake, it's a striking lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Devils Creek, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bear Valley. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Charity Valley Trail is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Winnemucca Lake, and from Winnemucca Lake you get a good panorama of Elephants Back.
Nearby Carson Pass is a great site to go if you're at Winnemucca Lake; paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork is so much fun. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Winnemucca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Blue Lake Campground is a good spot for that; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Winnemucca Lake, and the night is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Winnemucca Lake fall into the 10's.
Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly abundant here at Winnemucca Lake. The Mountain Club is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and you simply should take a look at Kit Carson while you're here at Winnemucca Lake.
