place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside. There's so much to do here at Windmill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Catalina RV Park is a great
spot for that.
The friendly folks of San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos like to hang out close by, and an afternoon playing golf at Oceanside Golf Course is always a diversion. Windmill Lake is a location that is pretty dry usually;
the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Harbor Beach near Windmill Lake is time well spent, and Best Western Marty's Valley Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
