Lassen Volcanic National Park is a perfect national park; close by you locate the Growler Trail which is a great hiking trail. Wilson Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Elam Campground is a delightful spot to do that, and Bailey Creek Cottages is a nice       spot to get some rest. At Wilson Lake you can spot Small Butte, and Rice Creek is next to Wilson Lake and is always a diversion to visit. All the outdoors amusing things in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. Not far from Wilson Lake, you'll stumble on Duck Lake which is a charming lake, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Lassen Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here                  at Wilson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willow Spring Campground is a good location for that; the Childs Meadows Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake is close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Feather River Meadows is a pleasant place to check out. Throughout the summertime at Wilson Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, typically in the 40's.
