Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Coast Ranges. On a nice day at Willis Hole you can take a hike along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail. All year is a wonderful time in the Coast Ranges if you adore the outdoors. If you came to camp Dillion Creek Campground is a pleasant place to do that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trace Creek. | | than a day at, Shady Bend RV and Mobile Park is a delightful local campground, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Hurdygurdy Creek. Willis Hole sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Willis Hole is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. a nearby lake, and the peak of Harrington Mountain can be seen from Willis Hole. During the summertime months at Willis Hole temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 40's.
The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Willis Hole tend to be in the 30's. Looking for something next to Willis Hole? Solitaire Lake is around here, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby
called the Elk Camp Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Summit Valley Trail is a brilliant hiking trail next to Willis Hole, and Oregon Caves National Monument is a nice local destination.
