Wildcat Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Double Point. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Wildcat Lake, for example Hagmaier Pond South; dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael. A short spree to Alamere Falls is always worthwhile,
and you can go for a hike on the Wildcat Trail. Interesting geology is available here; Arch Rock is close to Wildcat Lake, and not far from Wildcat Lake you'll find Bass Lake which is a striking lake. Muir Woods National Monument
is a very nice location to have a look at next to Wildcat Lake. There's so much to do here at Wildcat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Glen Campground is a brilliant location for that. Through the summertime months
highs here at Wildcat Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Wildcat Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's.
If you need a place to stay Mill Valley Inn is a wonderful choice; the peak of Firtop can be distinguished from Wildcat Lake.
