The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Whites Creek Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Klamath Mountains is great! Hiking along the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is brilliant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Whites Creek Lake is not the only location nearby,       Rattlesnake Lake is a nearby lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Trinity River. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Trinity River - North Fork; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Garden Gulch Trail. All the outdoors entertaining things near Whites Creek Lake will keep you coming back time and again. If you came to camp Hobo Gulch Campground is a great spot to do that, and the top of Pony                  Mountain is easily made out from Whites Creek Lake. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Klamath Mountains. Camping at Snipes' Villa is always a nice experience, and going for a hike along the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Whites Creek Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
