Go to White Rock Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Lakes are good; El Toro Lake is a lake that's close to White Rock Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Sur River. A brilliant place to camp here at White Rock Lake is Little Sur Campground; Carmel River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of Mount Carmel from White Rock Lake is picturesque, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the San Clemente Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Lucia Range. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of White Rock Lake, simply amazing. White Rock Lake is not far at all from Salinas; camping is available at Launtz Creek Campground.

right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Santa Lucia Range has it all. After a long day outdoors Bernardus Lodge is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike
along the Manuel Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Mudhen Lake. Be careful coming to the Santa Lucia Range, you might not ever want to go home again. While
you're here at White Rock Lake you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail; Country Garden Inns is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
At White Rock Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight
lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at White Rock Lake dipping down into the 40's through winter nights.

We are located 8 miles from Monterey. Close to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Monterey Wharf. We are also close to Carmel, Pacific Grove, California State University on Monterey Bay.
There on Golf Courses close by on the old Fort Ord called Blackhorse and Bayonnette. We are also close to the courses at Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay and several others. We also have kayaking and scuba diving near by or just come surf or hang glide at Marina State Beach close by.
We also have 61 full hook-up sites with free cable and wi-fi. Take a stroll on the beach over the dunes and take your pet for a walk on the ocean.... |
