need more than a day to explore everything Whelan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Casitas Poquitos RV Park. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Whelan Lake. Whelan Lake is a good spot to visit for more than
one day, Catalina RV Park is a good spot to camp nearby, and there are other spots here than Whelan Lake, for example Windmill Lake.
Pilgrim Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to; Oceanside City Beach
is a gorgeous beach to pop by. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Marty's Valley Inn. If you need a spot to stay Guesthouse Intl Oceanside is a glorious choice, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Oceanside
Golf Course.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clark Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Escondido Creek offers some fine whitewater.
