If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bear Valley is close to Wet Meadows Reservoir; some close by water includes       Jeff Davis Creek. Wet Meadows Reservoir is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is wonderful at Kirkwood; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Gardnerville Ranchos. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wet Meadows Reservoir you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail, and do set aside some time for Indian Valley if you're here at Wet Meadows Reservoir. Now, you may believe that's                  a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Wet Meadows Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Hermit Valley Campground is a nice location for that, and dry warm beds await you at Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. Wet Meadows Reservoir gets a large amount of water; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 13 is a fine hiking trail close to Wet Meadows Reservoir, and you'll discover a gorgeous lake called Hellhole Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wet Meadows Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; overnight lows at Wet Meadows Reservoir through the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Wet Meadows Reservoir has to offer.
