A tremendous close by hotel is Hyatt Westlake Plaza; the peak of Negrohead Mountain can be spotted from Westlake Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Westlake Lake is Camp Keystone, and while you're here, you could have a look at Lake Eleanor Creek. There are plenty of folks from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura here at Westlake Lake; why not camp at Camp Westoaks if you're here at Westlake       Lake. Spend the day on the beach at Encinal Beach while you're here at Westlake Lake, and a scenic lake like Lake Eleanor is a wonderful site to have a look at. Not much rain falls here at Westlake Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Westlake Village Inn is a splendid choice; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Piru Creek.                  A splendid site next to Westlake Lake is Little Trough Canyon, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Westlake Golf Course. This site is excellent, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Westlake Lake. Do stop by Lake Lindero in the neighborhood of Westlake Lake, it's a picturesque lake; don't miss out on a trip to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area if you're here. At Westlake Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
