Stay the night at Doc and Al's Robinson Creek Resort; there's whitewater on Tuolumne River for all you adrenaline junkies. So much cool stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too brilliant to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Heidelberg Inn, and magnificent hiking is available along the Gaylor Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paho Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and whitewater       paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tenaya Creek. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and West Lake is not the only spot close by, Par Value Lakes is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near West Lake? Bergona Lake is in the neighborhood. High temperatures at West Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs through the                  wintertime are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at West Lake are in the 0's. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. While staying at West Lake you could always explore Glines Canyon; the top of Camiaca Peak is easily seen from West Lake. West Lake is a location that is pretty dried out frequently; January is when you get the most snow here; October meanwhile is the driest month. West Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise.
